We have worked with JSD for over 10 years and this is our third uniform range successfully developed by them. The mix of stock and bespoke garments is great for us, and the JSD team is always a pleasure to work with.
The award winning travel company Trailfinders first came into our lives in 2002. Since then, JSD has created three successive corporate uniform ranges for this dynamic and fast expanding operation.
The latest collection – like the first two – combines bespoke and stock items, all supplied by JSD. Delivering that contract combination is unusual for us, but it works well for Trailfinders who prefer not to tie-up capital in tailored items.
Trailfinders is the UK’s largest independently owned travel company and a pioneer of tailormade travel worldwide, and employs a staff of over 950 in 27 travel centres. Collectively, its enthusiastic young employees have travelled to over 96% of the world’s countries, so the service and advice they can offer is outstanding.
The company told us that they wanted ‘a relaxed, preppy look which is welcoming but professional – our employees don’t want to look like they wear a uniform!’ The new bespoke shirts, blouses and knitwear are designed to respond to that brief and to appeal to the youthful age range and their ways of working. As one example, the durable knitwear has special elbow patches, to prolong the life of the garment. The bespoke items are designed to be worn with a range of stock supported tailoring – jackets, skirts and trousers – sourced and supplied by JSD.
Trailfinders like the flexibility of service we can offer them, and the fact that we effortlessly adapt our offer to meet their needs. Like all our clients, they know they can rely on their allocated JSD Account Manager, who monitors and manages their stock levels and requirements across all the sizes, and our team that forecasts and reports on future production. By keeping them informed at every stage, Trailfinders have confidence that we will ensure stock is available for staff in any one of their travel centres, on size and on time.
