Holiday Inn, Brand Family EMEA

Holiday Inn recently embarked on a re-branding exercise to update and refresh all of its hotels, so it was vitally important that they had a uniform that supports this new brand propositioning. They chose to partner with Jermyn Street Design to undertake this important task because of our ability to interpret their brief. We engaged with teams at the entire Holiday Inn estate worldwide (449 hotels in the EMEA) and developed a thorough understanding of their brand – then gave them a modern and contemporary uniform that their hotel teams love.

It was like having hundreds of clients under one umbrella. And clients who had been accustomed previously to using local suppliers and catalogues for their uniform requirements, so needed to feel involved in the development of a new and consistent brand image. We put on a catwalk show for the multiple franchise owners, who flew in from all over the world to see the new designs. JSD also commissioned a photo shoot of all the garments to create a wearer sales pack. It details everything the Holiday Inn employees need to know, from the styles available and garment care, to instructions on how to place an order.

To showcase our designs, JSD organised two days of choreographed fashion shows. 1,600 representatives from around the world attended.
